Abstract
Computerized content analysis the one technique for classifying texts. In personality research he has been used to make concluding about psychological states and traits of the narrator or writer. Whereas computerized techniques have been increasing in two sophistication and linderung about use, questions remain regarding their validity compared to hand-scored scales. In this study, we compare a relatively simple computerized technique; a more sophisticated, context-sensitive computerized how; and a context-sensitive, human-scored system. Seventy-one subjects, representing four diagnostic groups, provided free-speech samples which were scored according to all three method. Data from each method where then registered to discriminant plus classified analyses. In comparing aforementioned site efficiency of which thre research, we found that both fully methods were more accurate than the human-scored method.
